WELCOME TO SYMPOSIUM 6.-7.10.23, EVERYBODY!

The International Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) Symposium in Helsinki, Finland, is open for everyone! You are warmly welcome to attend workshops and other activities, connect with members from the community, learn best practices and be inspired.

During the Symposium there are DMT researcher’s workshops and DMT in nature at Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory) and free networking time and an Evening Gathering at Lapinlahden Lähde (Lapinlahti Oasis).

ABOUT EADMT GA2023

The European Association Dance Movement Therapy (EADMT) General Assembly will take place at Lapinlahden Lähde (Lapinlahti Oasis), Helsinki, Finland 7.-8.10.2023. The GA is for delegates of DMT associations in Europe.

Kaapelitehdas and Lapinlahden Lähde

The Symposium and General Assembly will take place at Kaapelitehdas and Lapinlahden Lähde.

Lapinlahden Lähde is located in the old Lapinlahti psychiatric hospital in Helsinki and It serves as a centre for mental well-being and cultural events.

Kaapelitehdas is located walking distance from Lapinlahti where the EADMT GA and the evening gathering takes place. Kaapelitehdas is a unique building, redeveloped from its industrial use into a cultural centre which hosts artists studios, three museums, activities and events.
